How is Windows Pro better?

pro has extended networking capabilities for business related function, there is no other difference between the two but price. Anything that asks for Pro like studio max and maya will function on home.

Pro also has dual CPU support and if you want to set up a server at your house or work you will need IIS that home version does nor have. Remote access so you can use your PC from another XP or Win2K pro PC.

IIRC, you need Pro for support of a HyperThreaded processor (Of it's HT features I mean). Though I could be mistaken.

Incorrect, both Home and Pro support Hyperthreading.

Windows XP Home supports 1 processor.
Windows XP Pro supports 1-2 processors. (Dual Xeon, Dual Athlon MP, Dual Opteron, etc...)

Windows XP is Hyper-Threading aware. This means if a processor supports it XP Home will act like there are two processors in the computer. On Xp Pro if you have two hyper-threaded Xeons, XP will act like there is four processors even though Pro only supports 2.

Oh I did see them, but it was still uncalled for... and you really didn't need to say joke or anything of the sort, but a sincere response would have gone over a lot better.
