I was looking at the cpu and video card fans on ebay and noticed that the cpu fan is almost 2.5 more powerful then the video card fan. Something like 8.4cfm vs 3cfm. Was wondering if anyone has pulled the guts out of a cpu fan and mounted it on the gpu base for additional cooling. Thanks for looking, Adam

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but the main reason for the differance is the size of the fan not necessarily the motor of the fan. The CPU fan is more than twice the size of the GPU fan allowing for more Cubic feet per minute.
On a side note I think the M90 uses the dual Heat pipe configuration on the V card like the M1710, there for taking advantage of both fans. Again I could be wrong on that.

The CPU fan is physically much larger than the video fan, SkimMilk is also right that the M90 uses a dual pipe video card.
Furthermore, the perpetually dying GPUs problem seems to be mostly isolated to the E1705/9400 Inspiron which only has the single pipe. There's been a few M1710's crop up on this board with problems. However, I have a large CAD drafting firm in my territory with about 3 dozen M90's and haven't had a single service call on any of them, video cards or otherwise.
