hello
does anyone know if can put a AMD Turion 64 X2 CPU Dual Core 2.0GHz TL-60 on a compaq presario v6000 or on HP pavilion DV6647CL
my compaq now has AMD Turion 64 X2 CPU Dual Core 1.6 GHZ tl-52 and pavilion has 1.8 GHz AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core Mobile Technology TK-55.

also i want to know if turion have better performance tha Athlon?

Better heat dissipation and power (battery) usage is the main core. Upgrading CPU will not give you much gain. Stick with maxing out ram and faster hard drive
