The new 181.20 WHQL's

Hey Tony, looks like these new 181.20 WHQL drivers should be pretty good candidates for your magic. Dox over at LTV2Go is working on a modded release of them due next week, but to this day I've always preferred your drivers over everyone else's -- they just look and run the best overall.

Are you going to work on these?

EDIT: Looks like Dox has already released them HERE.

Dox's optimized 188.22's are now out HERE.

C'mon Tony, where are ya???

Yeah started working on 181.20, then 181.22 came out. I'll try to put something together over the weekend. Time is slim, of late.

Looks like 181.20 and 181.22 have a widespread BSOD problem, even the ones straight from NVIDIA... On Desktops even. Unless NVIDIA fixes these (which they won't) or releases an updated driver (which they will, just a matter of when) a MobileForce release is TBA... Still...

what's BSOD?

Hmmm... I haven't had any issues with EITHER of those releases! Well, actually, with both of them I've had to scale back my overclock quite a bit because I was getting artifacting and even a couple "driver stopped responding" errors. But once I scaled back my overclock all was well.

What about 185.20's? Dox has those up too HERE. I'm going to try those now to see if it helps with the overclock/artifacting problems I was having with the 181.2x's.

Gonna be looking at 182.05 for a possible MobileForce release.

So yes, I'm still around, and trying to find you guys a good, solid driver for a new MobileForce release.

Yes!!! PLEASE DO!!!

This is supposed to have Fallout 3 performance enhancements, and I just got the game a couple days ago! The performance is actually pretty crappy for me. I run at 1680x1050 with 0xAA/16xAF and everything on Ultra, along with a bunch of tweaks to the .INI, and it runs much worse than I expected...

Oh, and supposedly better Left4Dead performance, which hopefully would let me do 1920x1200 without stuttering/slowdowns when a huge horde of zombies comes + molotovs/FIRE (thus I have to run 1680x1050 to be smooth).

Also supposedly fixes some sleep/wakeup/hibernate problems for some mobile users. So I say GO FOR IT!
