I do not recommend self repair on this one, however.
with the unit upside down, and the battery towards you.
remove all screws behind the battery, under the battery, and the ones to the immediate left and right. make note as they are different lengths and have to be put back in the same place. failing to do so will ruin your middle cover.
Slide off the hinge caps, then flip the unit over and open like you are using it.
gently lift the keyboard cover up and towards you slightly. then you will be able to lift the keyboard out.
be careful to not disconnect the 2 cables on the middle cover.
I do not recommend this to anyone as you can break it. However it's your toy, just don't cry if you break it.
