What part of get ur money back and quit complaining did u not understand?
Bitching people out every time u call is a sure fire way to get your work orders reshuffled to the botom of the stack or accidentally *cough* lost in the round file cabinet. And throwing around all the French here is a sure fire way to lose any sympathy or help u might have gotten here.

thats the whole problem is B$%ching them out every time... I know I wouldnt want to help you...Every time I had to call Alienware I have been really nice to them and I have gotten everything I needed in a Day or two from them....

Judging by his posts and "regular use of foul language" I doubt he will get much assistance from anybody...

Sounds like he has not even dealt with CS yet and he's going straight to the "Tech Guys"...that's his whole problem here....Tech guys are Tech guys...

I called the supervisor at tech support and told him that I was being treated like white trash in fact I have been telling alot of people that even the CS guy. It turns out that the parts were in stock all along.

I called sales and asked if they had a 1200p screen they said yes i asked if they had a $25 key board they said yes then i asked them why i was treated like white trash the last 30 days thats when I got the supervisor at tech support and i let hem know what was going on. It seems that they have ware house that do repair work all over the USA and that mine got sent to one that did not have any parts and they never bothered to see which repair house had the parts. So now he is going to see if my laptop can be sent to a repair house that has all the parts in stock. I would say 5 days to ship it to repair house #2 and another 5 days to get to me so were looking at around 40 days without the laptop.

Dont forget the 2 weeks at the repair house with the stock, thats SOP for Alienware, your looking closer to 60 days imo.

well I just called again and it seems its out of stock again is there answer the bottom line is that they have stock for new sales and stock for repair/warranty work

They will not ship any stock from new sales in order to repair/warranty work. Which is kind of sad. She told me that one guy has waited 2 months for his laptop to be repaired and its still on a out of stock bull shit list.

So yeah 60+ days i guess is what I am going to be waiting for. I will never buy an Alienware again that much is for sure.

Today I filed for fraud. Not sure what good its going to do tho. They have 10 days to either repair what I paid for because the items are in fact in stock because they have been shipping M17 laptops or give me my money back.

This is after I tried to buy the screen for laptops4less for 560$ but they said the screen was custom made for the M17 and that a 17 in would not fit in a 17 in case. I called bull shit on that one. 10 days till I get a answer.

I did file fraud and it did nothing they called me today saying the same bull shit. "out of stock" tho one guy did tell me it was getting bad for the M15x that they did in fact start breaking down full PC's and sending them to the repair places. Not sure when they are going to do that with the M17 We are now past 30 days with no work done.

I only did it because you said Maybe it would get the wheels turning in the right direction. Yeah sure I got my money credited to my account via capital one but I don't want my money returned I want my ****ing laptop FIXED. I got a call this morning saying sorry still out of stock. It did nothing to push them to do the right thing. I am going to go down to the bank and see if I can cancel the fraud charge because as I said before it did nothing and I want my stuff fixed. I am going to accept the fact that its going to be 90 days before they fix my shit so When I can confirm that the money is back in there account or maybe it never left then I am just going to stop calling and just wait it out. The only thing I can do is give them a bad review on every site and forum i can find then give them a report to the BBB then never buy from them again.

So go **** your self Alienware.

Dude, A) patience, B) I meant file on entire original purchase too.....
You paid for professional products and service (laptop + warranty) in your original purchase which is not being met, file for the whole thing, send AW back EVERYTHING and go with a different company.... thats what I meant....

I was reading and I think I may not cancel the fraud charge today at my bank and let it ride all the way out and then file again for the full amount of the laptop because the warranty does not say anything about the time frame that they must fix the laptop so I will wait till we get to what 40 days file and the reason will be "merchant unable to render service for warranty in a Timely manner" and when they ask what I want I will tell them my ****ing 1200p screen and my keyboard or they can pound sand.

It took 50 days but they sent the parts for mine and many others to the repair warehouse. They started breaking down M17 from the main house to fix all the broken ones. I should get it in 7 days. from today.

I have one video card that does just fine. To do a video card upgrade you can order the card and stick it in your self so you don't have to send you laptop in any ways. So even if I wanted a new card i can install it my self. No sending it off.

Love the new screen.
320GB hard drive and 4gb of mushkin coming tomorrow so that helps me out as well. Time to do alot of stuff.
