hi friends..
i want to upgrade the processor of my laptop HP dv4282EA.. http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/p...5192&lang=en&#

...presently i have Intel Pentium M processor 750 - 1.86GHz installed.. i dont know which motherboard it uses, but it has expresscard slots + 6 in 1 digital media reader + Quick launch.. (so,is it Intel 915GM chipset?, donno)

In HP PartSurfer of dv4282EA.. http://partsurfer.hp.com/cgi-bin/spi...%3F&catsel=%3F
,, there is Intel Pentium M 770 processor - 2.13GHz written..

Does that mean my laptop supports it..???

Is there any other higher processor that is supported by dv4282EA's motherboard , other than Pentium M770..???

P.S.
Sorry if any of my questions r stupid.. i am new to this..!!!

waiting for ur answers..!!!

Hello!

I just start my mom's pc upgrading is not a HP She have a dell inspiron 6400 with 945PM chipset and i put a T7200 CPU in (2Ghz Merom) Socket P (478) 800Mhz bus speed .... if uu have 915PM chipset uu should find out what socket is in and try find a cpu with the same socket . if i remember uu have 533mhz bus speed so uu have to look a cpu with a right spec "http://ark.intel.com/chipset.aspx?familyID=19209" there is a little help for ya... as i see the M780 is the biggest choice....
