Hi,
I am using my NC8000 since February now and I really like it.
I bought it at ebay.de (Germany) for 2000 Euros which was
really a good price at that time.
Specifications are right now:
1,6 PM
1,5 GB RAM
80 GB 5400 rpm HD
64 MB ATI 9600
Bluetooth
WLAN 54MBit
DVD-ROM CD-RW
Pros:
* Excellent keyboard. In fact I do not want to use
an external keyboard anymore.
* Good TFT. Not as good as my old Dell Inspiron UXGA
but the resolution is optimal (1400x1050).
* Fast
* Good battery life (3 hours when developing, 4-5
hours otherwise)
Cons:
* Bad touchstick
* Right side where the HD resides warms up a bit
* *TERRIBLE* hibernation performance
I have already posted messages in HP's forums and
got a bunch of answers but nobody could really help
me in regards to the hibernation issue.
I have investigated the hibernation concept in detail
but could not find any reason why it takes so long
to hibernate/rehibernate on my NC8000.
If anybody could help me out here I would really
appreciate it!

Is there anybody out there with a NC8000 that
hibernates fast?
Marc
