Computer wont boot up with the nvidia driver in place. Can boot up with safe mode and in xga mode after driver is removed. There was a screen that occasionally popped up for 1 sec when attempting to boot up with the nvidia driver in place. This stated something about overheating and shutiing the system down. Rarely, after the computer was cold I could start it with the nvidia driver. Is this a video card problem or a problem with the thermal sensor for the video card? Toshiba is not much help other than to send the laptop in for motherboard replacement at exorbitant rates. Looking through the internet it seems there have been similar problems with other laptops such as the F15 and G15. Apparently there was a defective graphics card on those. Has anyone had this problem with the G35?
