Can anyone please help me with any info to fix my laptop? I have Qosmio F25-AV205. Laptop works great with just AC power. It works with the battery if I first power it ON from AC only. It would never charge the battery in any case. It won't power on with the battery pluged-in. When I try to power it up with the battery in, the AC LED indicator flashes a code: 00100100. After searching the web I think this means code 24 in hex and "current sensing IC not normal". Does anyone know which specific IC and where it is? Or does anyone have a service/maintenance manual or schematics? I know maybe I'm asking for too much, but I'm hoping someone might help. I don't think its worth sending the laptop in for repair. If I knew wich IC is causing the problem I can replace it myself. Thank you for your time.
