I have the same problem as someone posted on the 15th January.
I bought my laptop and played the bluray demo with no problem,
and didn't touch it again for 6 weeks. I wanted to show a friend how it goes
and it didn't play. I thought it might be deactivated so i bought a bluray film so to be sure. NO GO ! I put the disk in and it opens a file with the letters
aacs , not sure of that , bdvm and certificate. I'm pleased to see I'm not the only person with this problem , been trying to work it out for the last two weeks ,apparently according to the dealer, Acer Support hotline should be able to help me fix this problem, but I was searching on Google and stumbled on this website. Somebody said to the other person to try updating, but why ?? My laptop was manufactured on the 17 september, so only four months ago.
Before I try the Acer Hotline, does anyone have a solution to this please ?????
