I need silence!

Its becoming a nightmare! My 9860 sounds like a boing A380 taking off from the airport. After spending some time on the laptop i feel so tired.

Here's the sample that i've recorded with my phone.

Is there anyway to replance the fans with silence ones.

Have you cleaned out any dust accumulated around the fans? Dust can make the fans less effective so they have to spin faster (and louder) to work.

Is it louder than it used to be or was it always this way?

And the A380 is made by Airbus, not Boeing! ;-)
