I was wondering if I could get Dell Webcam Center for my HP DV5Z-1000. If it is possible, I would like to know how. Thanks!

I would check a few things:
. can the cam socket support the Dell cam
. wires comning out the cam board of the Dell (if they match, then cut, snip and tape for trial)
. driver? This is the stickiest part

I mean that the HP laptop has a integrated HP webcam on it, and I wanted to use Dell Webcam Center instead of YouCam, and if it was possible. Thanks for the reply though.

My bad for misunderstanding. You can always try, make a restore point first.

Yea I tried that already, and it don't work. It says that it don't recognize the webcam, so I was wondering if there is a way you can trick it so it will work.
Thanks

It will be rough, as these dingies carry a "white" list as to what hardware that the software would support. So the trick is to bastardise the white list. A very challenging project.
