Amilo li 1705

Hi . Could any one help me out with this one

i have an amilo 1705 . Charger is tested and works fine also tried new charger
it seems as though the dc jack may be loose or damaged because when you insert the charger it has a slight angle on it . The pin in the dc jack seems solid enough but you have to wiggle the charger around for it to start charging . Was wondering if anyone had a manual to disassemble this model

Try searching the net for "Amilo li 1705 service guide", you miight get some hits from some download sharing sites.

Take pics and share back your experience(?) - good lucks.

ok so little info found on the amilo li 1705 so took this apart blind no probs . Yes as thought the live pin on the board had been shorting . resoldered the whole jack reassembled unit and all is ok, now one more question for someone with a little tech knowledge on batteries . The battery starts charging at 1% and very slowly gets to about 14% and after about 30 min jumps to 100% and charging light goes out as soon as the power supply is unplugged the charge drops rapidly and laptop powers off as if no charge in battery , about 3 minutes . could this just be a duff battery

Yep - battery is on the way out. What about the pics :-( ?
