Big question with the Alienware aurora m7700

Ok.. I need some advice. I am considering buying a like new M7700 off ebay for $900 for my g/f. It has quite of bit of extras with it so it looks like a pretty good deal.

He is also throwing in 2 batteries, a alienware bag, a intercooler and all the software.
Here is my problem I have. It does NOT HAVE a internal wireless card. When it was boiught it was never installed he says. I have heard its a big pain in the ass installing this card. is this really true? and if so should i reconsider and purchase one that already has the card installed?

I have an Alienware m9700 laptop and I don't recommend you buy ANY Alienware products. Their customer service is horrible and the product itself is not of top quality. My laptop's case is actually falling apart and after only two years of use.
