W34OUA drivers needed

Thread Starter
My wife got this notebook from a friend. Apparently at one point it was reformatted and Win2k pro was installed. Everything seemed to be working fine until I tried to plug my network cable into the ethernet port. Nothing happened so I opened up the device manage and low and behold, there are 4 "Other devices" that don't have a driver - Coprocessor, Ethernet controller, Other PCI bridge device, and PCI Device (I would assume this is why my PCI wireless network card didn't work either). The best I could do was search Microsoft Update for the drivers but no success.

Can anyone tell me how to figure out what drivers I need and where to get them from? And, no, I don't have access to the Win2k pro discs.

Thanks!

Download Everest Home, run it, and use the information on the report to list out and search for the devices drivers.

You can use the drivers listed from the main site as reference.

I recommend browsing the section for inputs as well. Though I must say that hunting down W2K drivers for this machine can be tough.

cheers ...
