I had been following this laptop on the gateway website in order to purchase this thing for a couple weeks, but when I finally got the money.....Gateway took the thing off the site. Anyone have any info on it?

I keep "hearing" a lot about this model, but in the end the 7805U still stands out as the current FX that Gateway offers. I might be missing something

It was there....it just had a better processor. The rest was the same. I'm just wondering if anybody knows if they are planning on bringing it back. jr.com even has it on sale here http://www.jr.com/gateway/pe/GTW_P7807U/

Cool. Then they will bring it back for sure, or leaving to BestBuy (and JR) to do the sale.

Still, many of the 7805U come with higher screen resolution.

Just picked one up at Best Buy for $1,150.00. Found it on their website and picked it up at one of their stores. Had a 1920 monitor.
