Can I connect to two monitors with 6530b?

Thread Starter
I recently got the 6530b HP Notebook but I now need to order a docking station.
Will the docking station allow me to connect to two monitors as I know there was a problem with the previous 6510b notebook in that one of the ports on that docking station was not enabled ; problem with notebook and not the docking station

I do not see why not. This comp has a good graphic card, makes sure the driver is up to date.

cheers ...

What kind of dock-station do you have?

Hi, did you find the answer? I had the same question and till now have no answer I want use 6530b by old docking station EN488AA.

May be this spec helps to you (http://h20195.www2.hp.com/v2/GetPDF.aspx/c01643599.pdf) As you can see some of the docking stations have no limits for two monitors for 6500 serie of laptops but some of them do inpossible to use second monitor with DVI for 6500, so 6530b as well. So check what model of replicator do you have and compare it with a spec.
