acer extensa 5220 hardrive upgrade

Hi I don't know that much about upgrading but wanted info about upgrading the hardrive on my extensa 5220.

I have increased the RAM to 2gb but really need more memory.

How do I find out the maximum size hardrive for my system without having to upgrade anything else? I did read that a larger drive may take more power to run but other than that I haven't been able to get the info I need.

greatful for any ideas.

as for memory, you are maxed at 2GB due to chipset limitations

as for hard drive, install any size you want. should take any size hard drive without any problems.
