I have a gateway 7422gx. I was using it tonight and all of a sudden when I moved it(nothing too rough) the LCD went dim but stayed on and all of the keyboard lights went out(num lock, caps lock, wireless signal, power light). The computer stayed on until I pulled the battery from it. I pulled the battery and put just the power jack in and nothing comes on. The computer won't turn on, and the power button does not light up at all. I took the casing off just to see if maybe when I moved it a ribbon cable came loose or something but that's about the extent of my computer repair abilities. The LED light that shows that the computer is being power comes on but is very dim. Any help would be huge. Thanks in advance.
