Effect with Installation Network Card

Hello,

I have a new Notebook LG R310. Inside is a Realtek RTL8111C LAN Card. Before I install the Network Driver, I can see the RTL8111C in the Device Manager of Windows Vista. After install the Driver, the Network Card disappears from the Device Manager. I saw here, only when I put in the Network Cable with connected the Router. After disconnecting the Cable, the Networkcard i not available in the Device Manager. I don`t know this Effect rom other PC`s. Is this correct so?

Try to update the driver from Vista updates, or just roll back to the preious driver, unless there is a need to update the driver itself. Vista has funny ways to present devices in its device management screen.
