Hey folks, I'm looking into buying a laptop. I've done quite a bit of research and think I've got one picked out but wanted to get a few opinions first. Any help at all would be very much appreciated.
I was looking for an Intel Core 2 duo, t5750 or better but not wanting to spend more than $900 total.
I've found this Satellite L300-0hh, I haven't found much info on the processor (core 2 duo t6400) but like the fact that it's got an 800mhz bus and 2ghz dual Penryn cores, the T5750 has a 600mhz bus. I figure this way I can squeeze more performance out of my budget without having to go up another price point. BTW this is going for $800 cnd + tax. Also Satellites seem to be pretty reliable and get pretty good reviews. The L300-OHH seems to be a "Future shop exclusive" so you might not find it anywhere else, here's a link though http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/pro...0118239&catid=
One other thing is that I have to buy from Future shop because I have a $500 gift certificate.
