I posted a thread yesterday...and no answers....

No problem

my new problem is that my brother bought me a new laptop

I'm an engineer, I use the laptop for engineering tasks, I'm intersted in gaming, I like to watch movies on my laptop

the new LT is HP DV5-1050
with the following:

AMD ZM-82 2.2 Ghz
320GB
3 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 9200M GS 256 MB
Bluray
Fingerprint
and the other standarad options
I had to choose between the 1050 and the 1126 with the following:
Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor p7350
• 2 GHz , Level 2 cache 3 MB

250 GB

3GB

NVIDIA GeForce 9200M GS 256 MB

DVD (No bluray)

and the other standarad options

I need to know if i did the right thing.???

is there any issues with
NVIDIA GeForce 9200M GS..??

is there any issues with AMD ZM-82 ??

what's the intel processor that i can compare with the AMD ZM-82 ..??

I read that the AMD ZM-82 is a dual core, it that the same as intel dual core or the new core 2 duo..????

it the 1050 good for me, my main use of laptop is some projects, and watching Documentaries and some Internet....???

and about the
NVIDIA GeForce 9200M GS, i read that it has 1.7 GB shared memory....is this memory going to be shared always or when needed only..??

I hope i can get some clear answers...

waiting...

Note:
price wise

Price(1050) = Price(1126) + 50$

There are no issue with any of the components stated above. I personally would choose the AMD over the Intel in this instance.

Dual core is dual core, Intel confuses peoples with the duo core and the core 2 duo, as one cannot support 64bits OS.

Shared video memory up to .... as needed.

cheers ...
