Compal FL90 Wireless/Bluetooth problem

Hello

I bought a Compal FL90 a few days ago and everything seems to work good, but if I enable the wireless and bluetooth together, the wifi card will be able to find networks but won't be able to associate to them. If the Bluetooth is off it will connect properly.

I have tried to replace the card already with no success. I also tried to put the latest bios, didn't help either and this happens on Linux and Windows Vista 32 bit, haven't tried any other OS..

Thank you.

What card do you have at the moment? Intel Wireless WLAN Link 4965AGN 802.11a/g/n?

Check this thread out for some tips.

Thank you very much for your answer.

Yes. It's a 4695 AGN. I replaced it already for one of the same model. Still the same issue. I've tried to enable Bluetooth collaboration like the other post says, but it's not there.

Thank you.

Hmm, tried updating the driver? Go to Intel support site direct and see.

Hello. I already got the newest drivers..

Chipset driver is next, if you have not done so. The missing of the collaboration option can only be traced to a driver.

You can also try to deactivate/uninstall both wireless and bluetooth devices, then reinstall them back one at a time, with the bluetooth first and see.

Hello

I've updated that driver too already. It didn't work either. I wanted to update Bluetooth driver too but Broadcom's webpage doesn't let me. I don't get why it also happens in Ubuntu too..

Thank you.

Ok, what about deactivating the devices as suggested in post #6, and reinstall them one by one?

Sorry, didn't metion I've done that too already. Both ways too, first bluetooth then Wifi, I also tried leaving the default Bluetooth windows driver and disabling the network devices that the wifi driver installs, it doesn't work either and if I do that then I cannot connect my phone thru bluetooth.

The bluetooth driver is from 2007 I think and the official webpage to download the bluetooth drivers doesn't let me download them. It says downloads are off at this moment.

Thank you.

True, i just checked the site also. Bummer. Can you share the device part number? May be there are other links on the net that offer the driver.
