Well it can be based around the same story, but it's HOW THEY TELL the story that makes it so interesting. Originality is one thing.. entertaining is something entirely different.

I agree with you Steve, just pointing out its one story told in slightly different ways each time. But ALWAYS told the best.

I saw alot of video review for BS2 and the consensus seemed to be that it wasnt as awesome as the first......then again, one a few people's POV

Just beat Mass Effect 2. The ending was very stereotypical (plus I predicted what would happen), along with the way the final boss was handled (also terrifying). Final boss was better than Saren at the end of ME1. Overall, it was well executed for a stereotype style ending and bossfight. I actually liked it.

Just beat the game Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
...I loved this game amazing graphics good ass story lots of choices..I had recruited everyone for the team and did all their side missions except the geths...everyone at the end died except, garrus, jacob, mordin, joker and the one guy with the scar on his face forgot his name...The enemy boss that I killed on my first try looked like a giant terminator...Looks like were going to get our asses kicked in ME3...

I'm going to start replaying this tonight on PS3. I need to beat it by March so I can use my saved games with ME3.

I'm done with the 360 I think.

7 hours in my 2nd playthrough. I forgot a lot of this story so playing it again will prepare me well for ME3

Steve, on your first play through did you do everything? Or just the main story line?

define "everything"?

I didn't download all of the DLC if that is what youre asking. one DLC was included with my game, was getting that Geth dude and Zaeed . I recruited as much as possible. But the PS3 version has all of the DLC included so there are some extra characters for me to recruit.

THen I upgraded every possible weapon and ship add on as well as do everything that was in my journal. I also had a relationship with a crew member and saved everything but Jack and that cute receptionist girl. That was because I didn't type into the add on stuff until i was done with the main chips crew. So because I didnt go into the final mission immediately, my crew suffered and I didn't get loyalty with Zaeed.

I am already 14 hours in and I've recruited Zaeed, Garus, Grunt, Kasumi and Mordin. The bolded ones are loyal already. So I'm playing at a pretty good pace.

26 hours into ME2; I fucked up (again) and didn't get the loyalty with Jack. The loyalty continues after her mission when she gets into a fight with Miranda. Naturally if you are trying to bone Miranda you’ll side with her, and Jack will get pissed off and not be loyal. I can’t believe I fell for it again.

Wow. I totally did not peruse the Shadow Broker story-line during my first play through. That was truly some great stuff. I'm 30 hours into ME2 and I'm nowhere near complete.
