Multi Keyword Searches

I was trying to find Titles with "Intel Application Accelerator" of which there should only be a few.

However, search returns 488.

It returns Titles with ANY of the keywords.

When AND/OR cannot be specified, a multi-word search should use AND since that was the purpose of using multi-words.

(Of course, apologies if there is a way to do AND's and I couldn't find it. I did try "Intel AND Application AND Accelerator" which other forums recognize.

I am using latest Firefox on a XPpro PC.

I did the little study with search string "Intel application accelerator"

Basic: 399
Advanced w/Entire Post: 399
Advanced w/Titles Only: 488

I tried both Advanced above with encapsulating single and double quotes and obtained the same results.

The fact that Titles Only brings back more hits is troublesome?

Thanks
Tom

I just tried again using IE7 and get the same results. How are you getting 11 I wonder? Do all 11 have Intel Application Accelerator in the Title? If not, if you do Title w/quotes, do you get all IAA in all titles?

I am searching entire site, are you searching a particular thread to get 11 I wonder?

But then, how in the world can I get more hits with Titles Only??

Thanks
Tom
