M1710 XP X64 Drivers

In need of drivers for my 1710. I know it's been posted before but the search was useless. I have been able to get some drivers but having a hard time with others.

sound
touchpad
Bluetooth


Any help is apperciated.

Well this is more of an indirect response but the places I would check would be Dell site (you can search similar machines that support XP64 bit), laptopvideo2go, and google.

uh, yeah... vista came on my m1710 so there are certainly drivers on dell....

Yeah I know there are drivers on Dell's site. Problem is finding ones that actually work. Still haven't been able to find a driver for sound. I found one that sorta works. I get sound but the buttons on front of laptop don't work and I get error messages when booting. Not all drivers on dells site are 64 bit capable. Only a few drivers listed for vista are compatable with XP.

Still need drivers for Sigmatel Sound, Bluetooth, Media card reader

Anyone running XP 64 on there machine?

Try Googling or yahoo search

I managed to find sites for various laptops and XP 64 bit OS

many times drivers from one laptop work on others that use the same Audio chip for example. Sometime you merely extract the files and do a manual driver update.

The Sigmatel Audo chipset is used an many laptops
