XPS M1710 LED problem

Just purchased a XPS M1710, Great love it, just the LED's on the top cover wont come on?

All others work fine any ideas?

Check the BIOS to make sure they are not turned off. If they are set to a color, then the connector, where it plugs into the system board might be loose. If they are set on in the BIOS, the connector is plugged in, the the wires might be pinched at the hinge, or the lights are dead. Hope this helps.

Tracked it down to a loose wire on the connector to the motherboard.
