Just want to say ALL acer aspires ending in 30g, 20g, and probably 10g use MXM 2.1 cards.
Usually the ones that come with the type I card will have space for the type II card (1st and 2nd images posted by garretpf, really only 1cm difference).
Also, these acers usually have BIOS support for a few different cards. I'd post a certain link but I think it would be to a competing forum
