LG Display is gearing up development of 120 Hz technology and full HD. They currently plan to start developing 120 Hz applications for 17" panels second quarter this year. They also plan to launch a full HD 17.3 notebook panel first quarter 2009 (this quarter). The change in size from 17.1" to 17.3" seems to signal a change in aspect ratio from 16:10 to 16:9 which is the ratio of most HD TVs.
