Screws for M90/M1710

Since I've been taking apart my M90 often. I notice that my screwdriver is not as flat as it should be and if I'm not careful. I will be stripping the screws soon. How much does a replacement set of screws cost. And is there a perfect screwdriver for the screws?

nm. there are some screws off of ebay and I believe a philips #0 or #1 would be good for this.

The closest to a 'perfect' screwdriver would be a Snap-On. Their tips, and bits, are the best. I have had screws that looked like they had been counter-sunk and the Snap-On was able to remove them. Well worth the money.

The screw kits should be available from Dell parts, or eBay.

My Snap-On screwdriver did not come with all the extras that it looks like yours did.
Nice setup, Woodstock.

that's a bunch of bits, you don't need all that.

A #1 Phillips bit should undo every screw on the M90 without rounding them out, #0 is a little too small and doesn't grip well enough. Wiha tools makes some nice precision screwdrivers and they are cheaper than Snap-on. They even have their 4mm Microbit sets that you can get for almost any head type. They also sell a 1/4" to 4mm adapter so you can use their microbits with a power screwdriver (I use it with my Snap-on Power screwdriver).

I don't work for Wiha, but I am a happy user of their tools.

Oh, and they're made in Germany (the Germans always make good stuff )

Haha Evil, I didn't catch that joke either. But then again, you don't usually joke.
