sup guys. my charger broke like last year. and i contacted AW for a new one n they said they stopped making em, and told me that i should just go look for ones on the net. i sat with the guy on the phone n we went to like 8 different websites all of which had the charger, but were sold out. so that was that. so for the next 2 months i sat around trying to look for a charger, n i called em back one day n they're like ya we have a waitlist of 13 people with the same complaint, once we get those chargers we will ship them out, so i got my name on the list. and the charger came and everythings fine now. but i guess i got lucky, cuz i bet right now its really hard to get em. so this one day my dad came home with this charger where you can change the output settings? he got it a frys. its like a universal charger, that can charge like 20 different laptops. you can switch from different volts. and different heads. the AW 9700 charger is a 19V. so i tried it out and it actually worked. the only problem is that it doesn't charge the battery. but it works when plugged in. i know this may not help with the overall problem. but yea =\ i hope it helps some how.
