Internet Sharing

Ok, here’s the deal. I have an Acer laptop with vista home-premium sp1 32-bit. My friend has a Toshiba laptop with vista home-premium sp1 32-bit. He connects to the internet via AT&T express laptop card. He uses AT&T Communication Manager to connect. I have done it before, but how do I connect our laptops together to share internet connection? A complete guide would be greatly appreciated because we only have 40 minutes to do this and trying to find the locations and options take up time. I can’t use the laptop card because my card slot is broken. Thanks in advance.

This should work:
Quote:
To set up Network Bridge
  1. Open Network Connections.
  2. Under LAN or High-Speed Internet, hold down the CTRL key, and then click each of the adapters that you want to include in the bridge.
  3. Right-click one of the connections that you have selected, and then click Bridge Connections.
  4. Connect each of the Laptop NICs together via Ethernet cable.
