What gaming laptop should I buy?

Heyy.
I want too buy a WINDOWS laptop.
My budget is around 3000$ AUD or around 2000$ USD
I pretty much want a machine I can use for gaming.
One thats not going to get outdated pretty quick.
I only want a windows vista/xp laptop.

chk out the notebooks in alienware's series...they are the best and powerful gaming laptops around here..

Not sure what is available in your area but I just got done building up a barebones OCZ 17" inch for a friend...granted it is only a 3870 graphics but still handles anything you throw at it. Are you looking at any sort of portability? Any screen sizes or weight considerations?
