Satellite A105-S4284 - SDHC memory card in SD card slot?

I just had my 64 MB SD memory card from my digital camera in my SD card slot in my A105-S4284 laptop and it worked fine but when I put my new Sandisk 8 GIG SDHC card from a new Canon Camcorder in the slot, nothing happened. Does anybody know if the built in card slot is compatible with SDHC cards or I need a different driver or something?

My personal take is to use an external card reader to cover different newer cards out there. Never got any lucks with drivers, even if they exist

SDHC cards were something that came out after the A105 was built, so not compatible. Ur going to have to purchase a USB card reader that is SDHC compatible
