Will a Intel Celeron 540 1.86 proc. bottleneck my computer?

It also has a geforce 9600M gt graphics card. Yeaah, so if I play some games, will my proc. significantly hamper my ability to play games smoothly?

Wow, it is a shame that one put a 9600GT along with the Celeron.

1.86ghz is not bad for speed, but you might consider eventually moving to a CD or C2D if our comp permits.

Want to share with us your comp model/brand?

msi 1651 i think it is... im cheap lol, i just want decent specs for a really good price hence the slowish processor.

I'd say yes. Newer games are traditionally more CPU intensive than GPU intensive (imo).

this model is slated as a barebone system that you can easily install C2D in it. So it was your decision and not the manufacturer
