VAIO FS810 firmware update

hello to all, sorry for my bad English

I have a notebook sony VAIO vgn-FS810 and yesterday i'm updating my cd\dvd with Sony® DW-Q58A-VN Firmware Update ( http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/swu...d=2349&os_id=7 ) , now my optical drive dont work , when i'm put disk in the drive , it is starting to read and i have no result, a system cant see the disk. I try to delete the driver of optical drive , but i't is not help to me. ( The notebook also can't see the disk's in DOS mode). Thanks!

Try reupdating the firmware again, following to the letter the instruction stated in the change log.

At worst, I would recommend that you go back to eSupport and try another firmware version, making sure that it is pertaining to your OS .

i'm already try to reupdating, it's answer, thet i'm have latest version (UFS4), on the esupport there are only this version.
About OS, the disk cant be loading before loading Operating system and some this i'm think , thet reinstall OS cant help here (((

I am not suggesting that you should reinstall the OS.

Just look around the eSupport site and try downloading different firmware versions that support the DW-Q58A model. You might also want to send eSupport a mail and ask for a previous firmware, if possible.

Hopefully some other members with the same comp, can offer sending you their firmware.
