i know it sucks. It's on shauns list. You can search when you're in a SUB FORUM or IN A THREAD by looking at the top of the forum, there should be something that says "SEARCH THIS FORUM" or "SEARCH THIS THREAD"

IT will def. be fixed.

Like OMG! What am I going to do?!?!

On a side note, I'll just use Google to search the site. In case anyone else wants to know how, just put this at the beginning of the search.

site:notebookforums.com

Then what you want to search afterwards. Thanks Steve. I thought I was losing my mind trying to find it.
