How to update my hard disk driver to 250GB with 8890?

any one can help me! I try to upgrade my hard disk driver from 80GB to 250GB, the system can only see 130GB. it might be a BIOS issue as my current BIOS is Phoenix 6.0 (2/2/2004), do I need to upgrade the BIOS? thanks

You need two things to be able to use disk space above the 137gb barrier:

1. Windows XP SP1 or newer

2. A motherboard and BIOS that can handle the Ultra ATA IDE interface for your large disk drive.

I am assuming you are running WIN XP SP1 or newer, so I would suggest updating your bios.

Thanks, I tried to search the newer BIOS and get nothing so far, I bought a Biosagentplus_40 which scaned my system and showed the same that I need to updating my BOOS but provide me with nothing. any suggestion?
