Hello, I have been having problems with my BD player. When I play a bluray disc i get an error code = 0122 which says that my video card driver is not compatible for blu-ray disc playback or that i am running my computer on clone screen mode. I uwas able to play movies before but now i am having this issue. Any help would be awesome.

Thanks,
Lucas

From what I have read the infamous error code 0122 is related to HDCP.

Do you have a secondary screen connected to your M210?

Which software are you using to play the BD? PowerDVD?

I read that form some using the modded drivers solved the error code:

Have you contacted Dell?

What OS are you running?

In between the time the BD player functioned and no longer does, did you make any updates/installs (drivers, programs, OS updates, etc.)

If not the ATI/Dell drivers are pretty old and the modded drivers are more current, I would try that route.
From the Modded Driver Website:

(Even if you don't mod the driver correctly you won't hose your OS, the driver just won't install.)

yeah i contacted Dell and they couldn't resolve the issue. I am trying the modder thing but i can't get it to install. I think i am getting one of the steps wrong.

There are people that mod drivers for you. Maybe I'm overlooking something but those drivers seem to just let you install desktop drivers on laptop GPU's. All you need for this is to mod the inf, but you can go to laptopvideo2go and just grab drivers, grab their modded inf, replace and install.

PowerDVD is showing a black screen during playback? Are the menus showing up?

Have you tried different Blu Ray Discs, possibly non BDLive discs.

Yeah, there is a black screen and the menus pop up. I only have one BD disc, Wall-E.

I would try to get a hold of another BD, as Disney BDs are full of extras that cause problems in PowerDVD and WinDVD.

I even run into the occasional problem playing a BD on my Desktop, and am forced to use a different player.

Yeah I have a similar issue on a completely different rig I gave up and bought a third party dvd player AnyDVD which resolved the exact issue you have on NVIDIA hardware.

I would agree, with AnyDVD I purchased it last year when it was a lifetime license its no longer such a good deal but, they do have a 30 day evaluation.
