Samsung X460-41P

So I am in dire need of a new laptop. Currently I have an hp zd8000 aka power hog, and want something smaller with long battery life. I really like the design of the x460 but it seems ridiculously overpriced at $1,599, is there something else similar capability-wise, but have a similar light-weight, long battery life set-up? Lots of RAM would be nice too .

im hoping to stay in the 14" range, and really like the layout of the x460

well if you want a good netbook, they just announced a whole bunch. 13.3 inches are around too. Check out Maingear.
