i'm looking for a cheap laptop for web browsing, movies, office, bit of editing etc

which laptop is better in terms of price,performance etc ?


Compaq CQ40 turion x2 2.2ghz RM-74 1mb gfx HD3200 (shared) ram 1gb ddr2 | linux $512

Compaq CQ40 turion x2 2.1ghz RM-74 1mb gfx HD3450 (dedicated) ram | linux 1gb ddr2 $567

Compaq CQ40 T4200 2.0ghz 1mb | Intel x4500 (shared) | ram 1gb ddr2 | linux $526


how about toshiba over compaq ? toshiba core duo laptops are in the same price range with identical specs. pls advice

any help apprciated.. thanks
