Upgrade Video Card Clevo D900T. Help Needed.

Hello to every one.

I bought a new video card 7900GTX 512MB for my laptop Clevo D900T.

But I have a problem. After mounted the new card I see some vertical dotted lines on the screen when I boot up my laptop and if I try to install the drivers in XP the laptop completely blocks up. So I must run it in temporary mode and uninstall the driver.

Those are some spec of my lappy.

Clevo D900T.
MB Clevo version 5.5
Power Supply 220 Watt.
Video Card 6800Ultra

Please Help Me!!!!!!

vertical lines is a bad sign. But it usually means theres a problem with the LCD. Not the video card. Is it possible to post pics of the problem?

It's not a LCD problem because I uninstall the new video card and installed again the old video card 6800Ultra and everything is OK.

Is it possible that the version of my Main Board doesn't support the 7900GTX?

What version is your MoBo? Ztronics shows their ver 6.2 MoBo will take that card :

I have a ver 5.5 and I dont think mine would work with a 7900 512MB card.

One question - where did you pick up the vid card ?

My Mobo is a ver 5.5 and I know is good for the 7900 512MB, because I asked directly to Clevo.

By the way I bought the Card in Italy but was bad or damaged. So now I have bought another card but this time I found a 7950GTX 512MB.
