Taiwan Economic News is reporting that Acer has been working on some laptops built around Intel's Consumer Ultra Low Voltage (CULV), and that they're to be released in April. The new offerings are to have 11.6", 13", 14" and 15" screens. With at least some of these to be housed in a magnesium alloy casing.
Goldman Sachs projects the cost of CULV based notebooks to between $560 and $700, though that's not an official or even un-official cost estimate of any actual system.
