XPS 13 Cooling Pad

Anyone know which is the best cooling pad to use with the XPS 13?

That looks cool except the reviews say it doesn't work well when the air vent is in the back of the laptop (as in the XPS 13).

That's a problem you would have with most cooling pads. The exhaust with your laptop lines up with its air intake. Really though, its more important to prop your laptop than to supply it with 5V fans. That's why I recommend bottlecaps typically especially for a midtier computer like the XPS 13. This works unless you were trying to find a cooling pad that covers the whole base of the laptop.

So do you not even think a cooling pad is worth it? Aren't there a few that are suitable for the unit?

I don't think its worth it but there are decent coolers out there. Most of them will have their air intake and your laptop exhaust line up. Its just a question of what you want to spend. You can always try out two bottlecaps for free and see if you need more.

I have always used laptoplegs on all my laptops they work great. But I use 3M weather striping glue to put them permenet on as the adhesive gets weak after a while. http://cableorganizer.com/outlet/EFL...LAID=261916218
