I need computation ability in the boondocks - out in rural Bolivia, where I plan to charge my electronics with solar cells. So, it's not so much the battery life I'm interested in, but rather the power consumption of the machine. I know the MSI U115 has phenomenal battery life, but does anyone happen to know how many watts it chews up? Is it the lowest power consumer out there in the netbook lineup? Are there others to consider?
I'm weighing a netbook versus an ipaq 210. The ipaq is a pain in the *ss, but if I can't reliably charge a netbook, then I'll go with the ipaq regardless.
