Hard Disk Sentinel is another program with a superior comprendium of hard drive information, including overall health (detected corrupt or damaged sectors), SMART data, average and maximum read/write speed, and average and current day data read and written.

Many members here asked why don't I report everyday freeware and why is it only from Give Away of The Day.

To clarify:

. I do share/post freeware other than the ones that come from Give Away of The Day. I have no personal interest in this Give Away or any other sites that offer cool free tools.

. I only post apps from Give Away of The Day that I myself use and try out. If anyone feels different, please post the offer of that day that is relevant to her/him.

. Members are (very) welcome to post her/his fav freeware of the day in the thread. This is not a personal thread by any means.

. There are repetitions now and then, which can be good to someone that misses earlier free offer.

So, post away your (free) finds here for us all to share.

Once in a while a cool free tool pops up. This one is one of those for me

Be careful when installing as it "recommends" another installation of registry cleaner tool.

I thought 32- & 64-bit OSes addressed that since processes can no longer run in "real time"

It's been running for a few hours now on Ultimate 64-bit on the old MSI 12". One thing I notice is that the system does not howl like it used to with full power mode and ProBalance enabled. I need to play with different settings and see.
