Advent 8315 wireless problem

I just switched my advent laptop from Windows vista home premium to Windows XP sp3, and now i have to be a lot more closer to the wireless provider that i used to. I dont know its the new drivers that i installed or it has something to do with the OS???
P.S. My wireless is Intel Pro/Wireless 3945ABG

what driver version are you using? have you looked up updated versions?

i got the latest driver from intel and its the same thing
Im thinking that the vista driver is better maybe???

Vista driver is not so much better, but Vista is, with its networking handling and managing. Review and implement this, and see if any improvements
