Your video card is fairly weak, so you're not going to get great frames per second in most games regardless. Your processor isn't bad. You can upgrade it up to a maximum of a 2.4 Ghz Turion ZM-86 if you want to, but if your only reason to do that is gaming, I wouldn't bother, since your video card is going to limit games much more than your processor is.

edit: also please note that you can't change or upgrade the video card in your notebook

If other stuff (other than games) feel slow, you might want to. If games are the only things you're having a problem with, then I wouldn't bother upgrading.

Hi, I have a so called gaming laptop, while it does play a lot of games well, I don't really enjoy gaming on it. It gets very hot and hense the fans become quite loud, and I have killed 1 video card inside of the 1st 14 months of owner ship.

I think I would have been better to spend the money on a decent gaming P.C. Its only my opinion but I agree totally, invest in a desktop for gaming and use your laptop for other stuff.

Good Luck

Sam
