Portege M800 - PPM81A-05W01J - wrong OS

Thread Starter
Today I purchased the M800, and when I booted it up it boots into Win XP.
My understanding is the laptop is supposed to have Vista and XP. It has a sticker on it that says "Windows Vista".

So how do I get Vista on it? The 2 CDs that come with it only state XP on them.

I've read something about a hidden partition, but have no idea how to access it to "Upgrade" to Vista.

Any suggestions on how I'm supposed to get Vista installed?

Thanks

Verify your invoice to see what it is supposed to be delivered. You can get the Vista upgrade disk and use your Vista COA with it.

Well, if the invoice says XP, they either you or the store that you bought the computer from, made a mistake
